I am having a real love affair with serum, having dismissed it as a bit of unnecessary faff I have come to appreciates the many benefits. For instance it preps your face before moisturiser and protects your face from the exterior forces such as the hefty wind and rain that has been greeting us when we love our homes. I have been testing out Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum and it has been a delight to use.
This serum is described as a mattifying treatment for normal to oily skin that tones and hydrates while minimising the appearance of pores and controlling shine. It contains a ginger root pore-refining complex that helps to minimise the look of your pores, Meadowsweet extract to control oil and shine and of course Umbrian Clay that purifies and clarifies your complexion. Umbrian Clay is pure clay found in Italy that has been used as a form of therapeutic treatments for centuries.
This product feels moist when I apply it on my skin but it dries easily and created a base for me to apply moisturiser. It has a lovely rich feel that is not overly greasy and smells divine. In fact the smell is similar to herbal tea rather than clay and has a very aromatic essence. It made my skin feel very supple, smooth and soft. If you are after a premium and natural serum then I would certainly recommend this product – in typical Fresh form it is very gentle and kind to your skin.
Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum is priced at £30.00.
