Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer is a lightweight moisturising silicone-free primer that gives a perfect luminous base for your makeup. It claims to help fight the signs of ageing, extend makeup wear and disguise skin imperfections. With skin nourishing ingredients like Australian Kakadu Plum known for its abundance in vitamin C, antioxidants vitamins A & E as well as Green Tea.
I have used this primer on numerous occasions over the last couple of months, and I really like it as its lightweight, hydrating and creates a good base for makeup. I’ve used it with the Radiant Loose Powder Foundation, as well as my other foundations and it worked well under liquid, cream and powder foundations alike.
While I can’t say it significantly improved the longevity of my makeup, it is a primer I reach for often, especially with the cold weather we are having as its hydrating, sits well on top of my accompanying skincare and feels more like a lightweight lotion than a primer. I can see myself using this directly on top of my serum in the summer as a sort of moisturiser/primer hybrid for my combination skin.
It’s a little on the pricey side for a primer at £22.00 for 30ml, but it is packed full of skin loving ingredients, and is more like an extension of your skincare than a primer. So if you are looking for a silicone-free lightweight primer, this is definitely a great option to consider.
Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer is priced at £22.00.
