The ORS Shealicious Hair Cocktails allow you to mix oils with a moisturising Shea Butter Conditioner for a more powerful and deeper conditioning experience. There are three cocktails in the range and I received the Shine Booster Mix. This product has been made for dull, brittle and lacklustre hair. The oils in this mix are amla and argan oils both known for its excellent benefits for the hair.
After shampooing with their Curls Unleashed Shampoo, I mixed the oils and applied the cocktail. I must admit I was very sceptical about the size, however I had just enough for my entire head with a tiny bit left over. The Conditioner also has some slip to it which allowed me to finger detangle without too much tugging or pulling. I left it in for 15 minutes covered with a plastic cap.
The cocktail I had was for dull, brittle and lacklustre hair however I didn’t see that effect. My hair was soft and conditioned afterwards but it was nothing impressive. It smelt ok but I am not a huge fan. I think the cocktails are a great idea; naturals are known for mixing oils in their conditioners and DIY, so this is perfect for that, however I wish it would come in a slightly bigger pack or sold in packs, I can imagine for those with thicker and longer hair, one pack would definitely not be enough. Each pack allows for a single use application therefore it can be difficult to judge any real benefits as in was in my case.
ORS Shealicious Shine Booster is priced at £5.52 each.
