Describe the items in your makeup bag.
Tea Tree Oil is a must for me because I have very sensitive skin and can have a outbreak at any moment. The Tea Tree Oil is natural and calms everything down very quickly. Bobbi Brown Stick – I love this product because it settles on my skin and give me a natural finish to the point that my husband may say. “You’re not wearing makeup today are you?” That does make me smile. Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder – this works well with my foundation for a natural and polished look. I keep it in my makeup bag for a quick touch up during the day or on an evening out. I have recently started using Contouring and Blush set by Sleek. I love the highlighter.. It’s like wow.
I rarely wear eyeshadow but I think I am going to try some palettes soon. On my top lids I wear L’Oreal Super Liner in Black Lacquer (waterproof) it does what it says on the tin and on my bottom lids I wear Black Kohl Liner by GOSH. I have just tried the False Lash Sculpt by L’Oreal, it’s ok, however I was hoping for a more dramatic effect. I think I will return to using the Miss Manga Mega Volume Mascara also by L’Oreal. I don’t usually wear much on my lips but some days I wear Ruby Woo Lipstick and Cherry Lip Liner, both by MAC. I have always liked red lipstick, I like way the mattes look on my lips. I now steer away from glossy lipsticks.
I was speaking at the Care for Your Hair Brunch in January and in the goodie bag was a new Lip Balm called Lip Glam. It is 100% natural and it works wonders. I have only been using it a few weeks and will definitely purchase it again. Other products in my makeup bag are nail file, tweezer and nail scissors. I also carry a few brushes and beauty sponge by Real Techniques and MAC.
Which is your favourite item in your makeup bag?
My favourite item is my foundation. I love the way it evens my skin tone and sets the base for all the other cosmetics.
Where did you get your makeup bag from?
My makeup bag came as part of a Dior gift set from my daughter about three years ago and I only started using it recently.
