B. Cosmetics Flawless Silk Foundation

Earlier this year, Superdrug reformulated and relaunched their B. Cosmetics line, a range of cruelty free products that are suitable for vegetarians and vegans and with a wide variety of products and formulations.

I tried the B Flawless Silk Foundation which has been designed as a light to medium coverage foundation that is build able with a natural feel to it that gives you a luminous finish which isn't overly glowy but which leaves your face with a nice radiant look to it.

The shades are numbered and labelled with either neutral (N) cool (C) or warm (W) as opposed to the usual names, which makes it easier for you to find the shade that you feel suits your skins undertone.

I tried the shade W8 which is slightly light for me but when finished off with a powder it worked really well. This foundation applies really easily; I’ve used both my hands and a brush and achieved similar finishes. However, if you have combination to oily skin I would recommend applying a primer beforehand to prep your skin, as well as a powder to finish it off as I found if I didn’t it started to shift halfway through the day.

The packaging is a little messy, with the pump that has a clear sign - stating that you need to pump slowly, which you have to follow very carefully otherwise it sprays all over your hand with a very big splat.

B. Cosmetics Flawless Silk Foundation is priced at £9.99, has a range of 12 shades and is available from Superdrug stores and online.
