B. Makeup Flawless Matte Foundation

Finally a High Street make up and that really hits the mark. I tried out B. Makeup Flawless Matte Foundation and loved it. It’s a great affordable price point and I tried the shade W10 which is a good match for me.

The shades are numbered and labelled with either neutral (N) cool (C) or warm (W) as opposed to the usual names, which makes it easier for you to find the shade that you feel suits your skins undertone.

The formula is non oily and on the matte side which works well for my combination skin and it’s really long-lasting with medium coverage that is buildable but with a lightweight feel.

It applies really easily, I’ve used both my hands and brush and achieved similar finishes - and although it’s a matte formulation, it doesn’t leave your skin looking flat - instead it has a nice glow and finish to it which is comparable to some higher end foundations that I’ve tried.

The packaging is a little messy, with the pump that has a clear sign - stating that you need to pump slowly, which you have to follow very carefully otherwise it sprays all over your hand with a very big splat. Additionally, just to add to all the positives, it’s not tested on animals and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

B. Makeup Flawless Matte Foundation is priced at £9.99, has a range of 12 shades and is available from Superdrug stores and online.
