The Beauty Product I Cannot Live Without: Yrsa Daley Ward
Author and poet, Yrsa Daley Ward tells us about the beauty product she cannot live without.
The beauty product I currently can’t live without is Biona organic coconut oil, which I discovered in my local health shop just over a year ago. I usually buy two tubs at any one time; one for cooking, which stays in the kitchen cupboard, and one for the body and hair. I use both more or less daily. Coconut oil is extremely moisturising and especially great in the winter.
A tub will last me about a month and a half or longer. I love the consistency and the richness of the oil and also the light sweet aroma, which is yummy. It gives me a lovely sheen on my skin, especially when I apply it fresh out of the shower or right after bathing.
It can be applied sparingly or liberally and it's also great for the teeth and dry skin. It is fantastic as a hair mask, also for shaving, long flights, hard skin, anything and everything. I love products that have them more than one use, being a basic and fuss free girl when it comes to my beauty routine. So it's my go to product for most things. I love to travel light, so the less items, the better.
