Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner

I struggle with eye liner; the pencil is rather harsh and the liquid needs total precision in order not to give you panda eyes. Gel liner has turned out to be a superb substitute because not only does it have a softness that is forgiving but it is also pigmented enough to give you the impact that you needs. Bobbi Brown have launched their Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner which is their first retractable pencil. What Bobbi has done is taken the existing Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner and packaged it into a pencil. Unlike a lot of gel eyeliners which feel cold when applied on your eyes, this product feels pretty warm. The liner glides onto your eyes very smoothly and the thin pencil allows you to accurately line your eyes. It is also easy to blend so you can do a bit of smudging to make the liner meshes into your eye shadow (should you be wearing any) of if you are going shadowless then this will give your eyes the emphasis you need.

I love the texture of this pencil but to be honest I just wish it was a bit thicker so just to save on the blending time. I tried the Scotch which I loved as it is a gold taupe with lots of shimmer. I didn't feel like I was using a gel liner as it didn't have that gloopy effect and felt quite velvety. The eyeliner comes in six colours, chocolate truffle, sapphire, steel grey, pitch black, scotch and violet night. So different looks for different folks. Plus it is water resistant and also had a sharpener built in which is perfect.

The Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner is priced at £18 and is available to buy now.
