If anything - makeup wise 2014 was all about the smokey eye. You could not move without reading about it in every glossy mag and hearing the words drop from the lips of any makeup artist. The Bobbi Brown Smokey Mascara is kajal pigmented to provide darker, fuller, lengthened lashes. I loved the mascara as it has a thicker brush base which ensures the mascara applies really well to separate lashes and build up volume from root to tip, without becoming gloopy. The tapered tip makes it easier to grab those small and sometimes difficult to reach lashes in your inner corners.

Applying smoothly and easily, the creamy formulation doesn’t clump together but is really buildable, allowing you to layer up quite a number of coats. It also wears well through the day without flaking or smudging and is so easy to remove. I found that this product helps to enhance and define your eyes without being too high drama, and so is perfect for everyday wear.

This is a really lovely product and worth every penny.
