Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract
I have to admit that Clarins have a great catalogue of skincare and I am real fan of a lot of their products. Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract is one of the most gentle cleansing products that I have ever used. It is a spa-fresh exfoliating facial cleanser that promises to polishes away your makeup and impurities and leave you with glowing skin.
It contains Orange Extract that softens, refreshes and revives your skin and Moringa Seed Extract, with anti-pollution benefits that purifies and refines your skin and helps to restore its natural radiance. There are also Gentle Silica Microbeads that tackle clogged pores, exfoliates and renew your skin and bi-phase scrub that gently removing everything that makes your skin look dull, leaving the skin smooth, soft and luminous.
Although I didn't use it to remove my makeup, it was used every morning as my cleanser. It left my face feeling clean and soft. The texture is very soft and creamy, you can barely feel the microbeads when you pour them on your hands. The only time I felt their presence was when I was working the solution into my face. You are advised to use this product once or twice a week if you have dry or combination skin or everyday if you have oily skin. I have the latter so I used it daily for a few weeks.
As an exfoliator this is not really for me as I like my scrubs to be a lot more coarser. This works really well for me as a daily cleanser with a bit of a pep in it. I am not sure if I am buying the dual function of this product - I feel that you sacrifice one for the other. Plus it claims to be suitable for all skin types; a statement that I have never trusted.
Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with Orange Extract is priced at £21.00.
