When it comes to eyeliners, we all look for a liner that will stand the test of time. Myself, in particular, looks for a smudge proof and waterproof formula that won’t end up leaving me looking like a panda at the end of the day. 

DHC have released their ultra smooth Gel Pencil Eyeliner, which they claim has a long-wearing formula that does not smear or fade. The pencil itself is a thin gel-based crayon, making it easy for applying to the water line, as well as for tight lining. The crayon is retractable, meaning that you do not need to search for your pencil sharpener each time you want to use it. 

The eyeliner comes in two shades: black and brown; I received the shade black, and it is a very deep and opaque shade. The liner itself is quite long lasting and I found it lasts the whole day when applied. I didn’t find it to fade. However, the crayon does have the tendency to dry out if the pencil lid is not placed back after use. Also as the crayon is quite thin, you have to be careful not to snap it. 

Overall this is a very easy liner to use, it glides on your eyes effortlessly without any tugging and lasts all day. I will say that you may need to invest in a good eye makeup remover to ensure you can remove the eyeliner residue.
