Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15

I am a Lip Balm addict and have them dotted all over the place - bathroom, bedroom, makeup bag - they are always at hand for whenever my lips need some hydration. Of course I have tried may different Lip Balms made by different brands and I can tell you that this one by Fresh is right up there.

Fresh was founded in 1991 by Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg and it originally started life as oan apothecary store in Boston. The aim was to bring natural, upscale personal care products from around the world to the people of Boston.

21 years later and it is now a global brand with stores all over the world. I have heard everyone from bloggers, journalists and beauty lovers rave about Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 and how it is the holy grail, so when Fresh opened a store in Marylebone, part of me was tempted to pay a visit in order to pick up a few bits.

However, a fleeting visit to the Purple PR Xmas in July press day bought me face to face with the brand. After talking me through the product I was lucky enough to be gifted a box of mini sized Lip Treatments as well as a full sized one.

The Lip Balm is an ultra-nourishing tinted lip treatment that moisturises, protects and smoothes your lips while leaving a lovely smelling tint. They are available in 12 different shades such as ruby, honey, berry, hot pink and coral. First of all this product is long lasting and really moisturises your lips for quite a few hours. It smells gorgeous, rather similar to luxurious sweets and of course the packaging is impeccable with the balm housed in metal tubes.

Application is smooth and easy - the only downside is that one of the lip balms almost split when I applied to rather vigirously so you have to take a bit of care.

They contain a blend of nourishing oils, including meadowfoam and black currant seed oils, to helps moisturise your lips and Grapeseed oil helps to smooth and soften them. It is rich in antioxidants known to protect from damaging free radicals. Also the fact that it has SPF which is an added bonus for when the hot weather comes around.
