Getting my Manicure and Pedicure on at So Me Beauty

It's Spring and with the summer weather approaching it is time to get your nails and toes looking pretty. So when I was invited to So Me Beauty to have a complimentary manicure and pedicure I was very quick to take up the offer.

I went for the OPI Gelish - I often have Shellac on my hands and last year I had it done every two to three weeks. I took a break because my nails were getting very weak and I had never had gel polish on my feet before.

So Me Beauty was founded in 2015 and as well as a presence in Superdrug where they do brow and last treatments, they have branches Clapham Junction, Clapham North and Colliers Wood. I was booked into the Clapham North branch.

As well as manicures and pedicures they offer threading, waxing, massages and facials. The team is made up of stylists, nail technicians, threading and waxing specialists, masseurs, skin therapists, make-up artists, beauticians, dental hygienists and doctors.

I was greeted warmly by a member of staff who led me to the area to have my pedicure. My therapist was lovely and very accommodating. The hospitality was great, I was offered refreshments a few times and asked about the pressure of the treatment.

Bear in mind that I had not had a pedicure for a year, my feet were not in the best state but after the pedicure they were left feeling very soft. I went for a bold pink and the colour looked amazing again my skin.

I couldn't help but notice how immaculate the place was - messiness is my pet peeve so I felt really at home at So Me Beauty. Normally I can't wait to get my treatments over with but on this occasion I was sad to leave.

Gel Polish for Hands is £35 and Gel Polish for Feet and Pedicure is £50.
