LUSH R&B Hair Moisturiser

I wouldn't have associated Lush with catering for Afro hair but when you think about the ethos of the brand and how they make their products then it does make sense.

One product that stands out is Lush R&B Hair Moisturiser; this product was created by a former employee by Lush who was a Woman of Colour and saw a gap in the market for women with natural hair.

Armed with the knowledge that Lush greatly value the input of their staff and take onboard their ideas - the said employee helped to come up with the formula for R&B. The product is made with an extremely rich blend of oils and butters. There is Oak Milk that soothes and calms your scalp, Organic Avocado Butter that nourishes and hydrates your hair, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil that softens and moisturises your tresses and Orange Flower Absolute that adds a pretty floral smell that is uplifting.

The texture of R&B is very rich which is fantastic for me because my hair is very thick and greedily drinks up any product that is applied to it. It does indeed soften the hair and makes it easier to come through. I also used it for my scalp and found it easy to apply and it left my scalp well moistured for a good few days. The Orange Flower scent is pretty pleasant. Also the fact that it is freshly made is a real bonus. R&B gets a huge thumbs up by me and I can see what all the hype was about.

Lush R&B Hair Moisturiser is priced at £11.50 for 100g and £19.95 for 225g.
