Sleek MakeUP Hydrating Primer

I will admit that I have not really used many products by Sleek MakeUP despite the whole hooray about them. After attending a launch last year I was gifted the Sleek MakeUP Hydrating Primer. 

There are some back up products that I never ever skip - toner, undercoat for nail varnish and conditioner and primer is one of them. It is just one of those things that I feel I need to have in my life. 

The whole point of makeup primer is that it is supposed to be a base for foundation that allows it to go on smoother and last longer. Some do this better than others. 

This hydrating lightweight primer moisturises your skin for flawless looking makeup application. The moisture-rich formula contains known hydrating ingredients and makes your skin feel smooth. It can be worn alone or under foundation.

I have never worn a primer alone so that rules the first notion out. As a base for the foundation it is by all means not perfect but it works well enough. At the end of the day there were still oily areas on my skin but I don't think there is a primer on this earth that will prevent that. 

The texture of this primer is very nice - although it is matt it also has a creamy feel and is very smooth. It is quite a joy to apply. In my opinion this primer by Sleek is great value for money.
