Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

Just when you though the Naked series was over, Urban Decay surprise us once again with this Naked Smoky Palette, a collection of 12 cool to neutral toned shades in addition to a dual ended brush. Of the 12 eyeshadows nine are brand new and the other three are exclusive, there are four matte shades and the others are either shimmer or full on sparkle.

Cool toned and smoky eye looks are something I sway away from, so this is a good way for me to experiment with such shades, in the palette there’s also a step-by-step guide for four looks included in the palette to give you some ideas and guidance. The palette is gorgeous, it’s a hard silver and grey case with a smoke effect on the lid, raised silver lettering, and a secure magnetic closure.

The packaging is personally my favourite of the Naked palettes, I love that the brushes included in these palettes are useable, this dual ended brush has a tapered fluffy blender on one end and a small compact smudger on the other.

Some of my favourite shades are Dirty Sweet, a bright shimmer gold, Radar a brown shimmer, Dagger, a blue grey shimmer, Smolder, a deep dark shimmer purple and Whiskey, a matte cool toned brown to name a few. All the eyeshadows are pigmented, smooth and blendable, some of the matte shades require a bit of building up and some of the shades do have a tiny bit of fall out, but they do last all day once on the lids. If you like your neutral eyeshadows, and love to do a range of smoky eyes for day or night time then you definitely have to check out this palette, I love it!
