Fenty Beauty Flyliner
One of the most recent launches from Fenty Beauty is their new Flyliner in the shade ‘Cuz I’m Black’ (the only shade in the range at the moment). This is a felt tip liner pen that is described as having a ‘super-flex tip’ and hyper-saturated colour. It is also described as being fadeproof and water-resistant, so is long-wearing.
The Flyliner is supposed to be designed to suit all eye shapes with its extra long flexible tip and precision point so that all abilities can feel comfortable when using this liner. It also has a unique design to its outer packaging with a smart triangle shape which makes it easier to hold.
After using this liner for the past couple of weeks, I quite like it. It is very pigmented and it definitely does resemble a gel liner once applied. I also found it to glide onto my eyes easily without pulling. It is quite easy to apply and the thin tip allows you to create as thin or thick of a line as you want. The liner dries quite fast and I didn’t find that it smudged throughout the day. It is definitely very long-wearing and its vibrancy lasts too.
Although I quite like using the Flyliner, I can’t help but think that it is quite pricey for what it is. The liner retails for £17.00 and whilst that isn’t the most expensive eyeliner out there on the market right now, it is still up there. I find that I can find a similar performing eyeliner from the drugstore for a quarter of the price.
Overall I think this is a great product, which has a really good lasting power and pigmentation. It’s quite easy to use and I love the unique design of the outer packaging. If you’re looking to spend a bit more on your eyeliner then I’d say that this is one to check out.
Fenty Beauty Flyliner is priced at £17.00 and can be found at Harvey Nichols.
