Describe the items in your makeup bag.
So, like most of us ladies I own a lot of makeup – I have an everyday makeup bag and a larger one that I delve into when getting ready for a night out or a special occasion. Some of the items I use on a day to day, and would consider my essentials would be MAC Brow Pencil in the shade ‘stud’ for a natural brow, followed by Benefit’s ‘Ready, Set, Brow!’ Gel. This gel keeps my brows in tact all day even during the warmer months, and honestly although it’s quite expensive – it’s definitely worth the money.
I then use MAC’s Studio Fix Liquid foundation for natural looking coverage on a day to day, and I love YSL’s Kiss and Blush to add some colour to my cheeks. At £29.00, it's quite pricey for a blusher – so a cheaper alternative for me is the Sleek Blush by 3 Palette in ‘Sugar’. As I’m not really one for false lashes, a good mascara is really important to me – I love Bourjois’ Beauty’Full Volume Dark Kohl Black Mascara, the hourglass brush lengthens, volumises and separates your lashes at the same time.
When going out, the products I use are a lot more extensive. Key items include LA Girl Pro Concealer range, Anastasia Beverley Hills Glow Kit in ‘Sun Dipped’, Sleek’s Face Form Contour Kit, Ben Nye’s Luxury Banana Powder and Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray. This spray is a makeup bag essential, and literally the best setting spray I’ve ever tried.
Which is the favourite item in your makeup bag and why?
My favourite item in my makeup bag would have to be my MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick. It can make any look go from 0 to 100, just like that. When applied with the MAC Nightmoth Lip Pencil – it’s literally a winning combo. Definitely my signature lip.
Where did you get your makeup bag?
My makeup bag is from Primark. I love a good bargain, and they always have loads of cute designs. My current one is about a year old – I need a new one very soon.
