e.l.f. Cosmetics Nude Eyeshadow Palette Rose Gold
e.l.f. Cosmetics has returned to UK shores and launched on Superdrug which is great news, as we need more budget friendly makeup options in the UK, I received the Nude Eyeshadow Palette Rose Gold.
The Nude Eyeshadow Palette Rose Gold is housed in the classic black e.l.f. compact with a mirror under the lid and a secure click closure. This is very travel friendly considering it holds 10 eyeshadows and it’s no bigger than my hand. The colours in this are very reminiscent of Urban Decay’s Naked 3 Palette, in fact owning both palettes I’ll say the Naked 3 was very much the inspiration for this palette. However the shadow quality is not comparable, but if you do not want to stomp up the higher end price tag and/or you are not sure rose toned colours are your thing and want a palette to experiment with you can’t go wrong with this one from Elf.
This palette is good for creating day and night looks, and there’s just enough pigment to work with, but some shades could do with being more pigmented, and some of the matte shades can pull a little chalky, especially the first shade in the palette (there are no individual shade names). Despite this the shadows lasted on my lids all day with no fading and no shadow primer, although I do not have oily lids, so rarely ever need an eyeshadow primer anyway.
e.l.f. Cosmetics Nude Eyeshadow Palette Rose Gold is priced at £12.50.
